Kuttram 23 is another thriller from the director of Eeram. This time Arivazhakan confronts a crucial social problem while giving us another decent thriller.

The film starts with a scene where a church father is killed and a girl is abducted. Vettrimaran ( Arun Vijay ) starts to investigate the case. How this case affects Vettrimaran's life forms the rest of the story.

 Action scenes are superb and realistic. The cinematography is really good. BGM is apt for the fight sequences and the thrilling mood of the film. Beautifully taken songs are another asset for the film.

Arun Vijay ones again prove what he is capable of. His action and emotional scenes were superb. Thambi Ramaiah makes us laugh this time, largely due to a good script. Comedy and songs do not seem forced. Mahima Nambiar was good looking and cute in another one of that damsel in distress roles.

The film is a good thriller with beautiful songs, action and comedy. The film gets another point for seriously confronting a crucial social problem ( which I wouldn't tell you... Don't want to be a spoil-sport )
