       wonder woman is the new superhero film from the DC universe. and it's a treat for all movie buffs. after some unsuccessful movies, DC fans expected a lot from this one and wonder woman doesn't disappoint. wonder woman is everything they hoped to be - stunning, elegant and powerful.

what is the movie about?

• In contemporary Paris, Diana is a curator for the Louvre Museum. She receives a photograph of her from the world war - one era from the Wayne Enterprises so began to recall her past.

• Diana was born on the island of Themiscyra, home to the Amazons, a race of warrior woman created by gods of Mount Olympus to protect humankind from the corruption of Aries, god of war.

• she desires to be an Amazon warrior from the childhood however her mother Queen Hypolita did not allow her daughter to train. however, Diana sneak under the night on a daily basis to receive training from her aunt Antiope, general of the Amazon warriors. although they get caught after some years Antiope convinces her sister to continue the training of Diana

• Diana rescues a pilot Steve Trevor once his plane crashes off the coast of Themyscira. shortly after his arrival, German soldiers comes to the island in pursuit of the pilot. The Amazon warriors kill every soldier in the following battle. however, General Antiope dies while attempting to shield Diana. when interrogated by the lasso of truth, Steve forced to reveal his true identity, A spy for British people and also that the Germans plan in killing so many in the war. after hearing the cruelty of the war, Diana decides to travel with Steve to finish this war by killing Aries as she believes Aries is the one who is accountable for this war. She also takes the sword which she assumed to be "The Godkiller" along with her.

           the story then shows Diana and Steve's adventures to prevent the world war.

Why was wonder woman an anxious wait?

                                                To know how Gal Gadot portrays wonder woman: there was a speculation among the comic fans that Gadot isn't apt to portray wonder woman owing to her slender looks. however, after watching the film I am unable to think of any other actress playing Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot made this role epic and there won't be anybody to replace her.

When does the film live up to the hype around it?

• Patty Jenkins deserves a credit for creating this epic superhero movie. This film had plenty of things going against it - woman-oriented superhero movies all failed to impress to date, Gal Gadot got criticized for her looks, DC's superhero movies are going on a downward spiral. but even though she faced several obstacles along the way, Patty Jenkins gave us a gem of a movie. which deserves a standing ovation.

• The story has sensible emotional elements and great action sequences. the comedy isn't forced and invoked a laugh riot. The naive and powerful Diana is well portrayed by Gal Gadot.

• The BGM was spectacular.

Where does the film stops short of being perfect?

                                               This spectacular film does accompany some errors. the VFX overload in the climax fight sequences does not thrill you like the remainder of the movie. they ought to have gone for more refined instead of this extravaganza in VFX

Who steals this grand show?

• Gal Gadot as Diana is impressive. Her fighting, comedy, and romance are excellent. The naive and powerful Diana was safe in the hands of Gadot.

• Chris Pyne as Steve Trevor was also good. He did his job as the friend of Diana. He was forever in awe of her strength and naiveness. although his role is tiny compared to Diana, He leaves a mark in viewers.

• Patty Jenkins deserves a lot of credit than anyone else for pulling this off. The film does not even have a boring moment. it's forever moving and offers us something to laugh about and cry about and think about every now and then. The sole negative is the over VFX fights in the climax and that we can look the other way because this is a superhero movie and an extravagant fight is anticipated in the end.

How will wonder women affect the superhero genre?

                                                    This movie breaks all the tradition of a superhero movie and still became a huge success. It's a women-centric superhero movie and the main baddy is a woman too, doctor poison and everyone is in awe of their powers throughout the movie rather than get surprised every single time they did something. It doesn't have a main superpowered villain until the end and most of the time human behavior is at fault here.

                                              More than that wonder women actually possesses the qualities of a woman and act according to it, unlike black widow who is just another macho superspy in a woman's body.thus wonder woman does break the mold this time and it'll bound to create ripples in the superhero world of movies and brings confidence to filmmakers to come up with more women superhero movies...
